Event Details

From the beginning, the goal of our special event has been to put the “fun” back into fundraising. In 2020, Jeff Baldus literally sold the jacket off his back to raise additional support for the AAF. Last year, thanks to dozens of donations from generous supporters, we raised over
$1,100 to grant Tanya Medgaarden’s wish of shaving off Taggert’s beard.

This year, we hope to continue that tradition of fun in fundraising with a new surprise. Please join us as we strive to raise even more money to further our mission of “Enhancing the community through charitable giving.”

Please join AAF Board Chair Taggert Medgaarden, Steve Barrett, and one of KIMT’s outstanding anchors for a wonderful evening that will provide you and your sweetheart an opportunity to show your love for Austin and the Greater Austin Area.

Contact Steve Barrett for additional details:

For the love of Beards

This year, we want to offer a different opportunity to support the fundraising efforts of the AAF but still have a connection to the beards which we both love and hate. You can show your support by helping to select the person “Who Wore the Beard Best?”
